Joe Rindone
Trainer
 Joe Rindone is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer from the American Academy of Personal Training. Joe believes the knowledge gained at the Academy exceeds the current standards in the industry and he is especially proud of his experience at this school, considering its hands-on education and course outline. Joe is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Joe was a competitor at Arlington High School, playing football and basketball. He continued
to compete at a collegiate level in football at Curry College, in Milton MA, while receiving a
bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Minor in Communication. Joe was one of five
members on his football team to accomplish the thousand-pound club feat. He continues his fitness
competitiveness in receiving Personal Training, Boxing, attending Group Classes and running Road Races.
Joe has experience with a number of clients ranging from ages thirteen to eighty-four. He takes pride in his ultimate
goal of capturing the best ‘you’. He has always known helping others obtain
a healthy lifestyle was his calling. Joe aims to make you feel better about yourself by training and
educating you in physical exercise and nutrition. Joe’s goals are your goals -- working one-on-one or
in groups, whether you’re trying to lose weight, gain flexibility, or increase strength, he is here to help
you.
Matt Cooney
Trainer
 Matt Cooney is a certified Youth Fitness Specialist through the International Youth Conditioning Association. Over the last two years, Matt has served as a Collegiate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Eastern Connecticut State University and Tufts University, where he currently works.
Matt attended Arlington High School where he captained the varsity baseball and football team. After graduation he pursued a baseball career at Eastern Connecticut State University. While obtaining a degree in Physical Education, Matt was the captain of the baseball team, playing in the College World Series three times. Following his collegiate career, Matt went on to sign a free agent contract with the Boston Red Sox. During his two-year career, he developed a passion for strength training and conditioning; observing and applying knowledge from athletes at the elite level. Following his baseball career, Matt pursued an internship at Cressey Performance, a well-respected and nationally recognized strength training facility known for training athletes such as Kevin Youkilis and Curt Schilling. It was there that Matt learned the importance of flexibility and mobility in conjunction with a strong and fit body.
Matt believes that a variety of strength training, flexibility, and conditioning exercises are necessary to build a solid foundation. His motto is “A strong body is a healthy body.”
Carol Sullivan
Dietitian
Carol received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and food Science from the University of Vermont. She completed her internship at Mass General Hospital and is currently still there as the Clinical Dietitian.
Carol has designed nutrition programs for elite athletes and regular exercisers. In addition, Carol has a a background in weight management, heart healthy diets, GI disorders, eating disorders, diabetes and general healthy eating habits.
